Who are you…

DeLee was born and raised in Southeastern Ohio.  She was a shy, nerdy child who made her debut in a small community theatre production of Alice in Wonderland, a story that she will never tire of in all its iterations.

She completed the Professional Actor Training program at Wright State University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting.  She also became a certified actor combatant after passing the SPT with the Society of American Fight Directors in unarmed, quarterstaff, and single sword in the Spring of 2014.  Following her senior class's New York Showcase, she became a company member with Pointillism Jazz Consort.

DeLee is currently based in Cleveland, OH.  She spent a season as a teaching artist with the Kids Love Musicals! program for The Musical Theater Project, and for three seasons, she worked as an Actor Teacher with Great Lakes Theater. She taught and acted for thousands of K-12 students in her four years as a teaching artist, and still feels passionately about the importance of the arts in the classroom.

She has also performed at various venues throughout NE Ohio with rock band, Vanity Crash, and brought the party as an entertainer with Rock the House Entertainment. DeLee has appeared in numerous productions, festivals, and staged readings with local theatre companies such as Beck Center for the ArtsBlank Canvas Theatre, Cain Park, Clague Playhouse, Cleveland Play House, Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, Dobama Theatre, Ensemble Theatre, French Creek Theatre, Ohio Shakespeare Festival, and Talespinner Children’s Theatre.

While DeLee can often be found in artistic pursuits, she also works a day job in admin for a local nonprofit. And sometimes, she and her rescue cat, Cerridwen, are content to just cuddle up and forget the rest of the world in a novel (or several).
